After-Sales Service
Once instruments are part of a test programme, downtime usually costs far more than the hardware. Our after-sales covers installation, training, warranty repair, calibration and spare parts; progress and timing on every case are logged by the people actually doing the work, so once signed in you can see exactly where your instrument stands, rather than a blanket “in progress”.
After-sales service commitments
These are our published after-sales service commitments, setting out what is covered inside and outside the warranty period and how repairs are charged. The contract or technical agreement signed between the parties prevails; where it says otherwise, its terms apply.
Within the warranty period
- Product hardware carries a one-year free warranty, with lifetime repair service.
- Within the warranty period, damage not caused by human factors is covered by free routine maintenance and repair.
Beyond the warranty period
- For instruments out of warranty we provide telephone consultation and remote guidance free of charge.
- Where replacement parts are required, repairs are charged at cost only.
Software updates and maintenance
- Software receives free upgrade and maintenance service for one year.
- After the first year, upgrades and maintenance are charged as appropriate.
Who carries out the work
- All inspection and repair work must be carried out by our own technical staff.
How a repair is handled
From the moment you report a fault to the day the instrument is back with you, every case runs through the same six stages — the ones you see in “My after-sales status” once signed in.
- 1
Ticket created
We take the request, check the instrument details and open a ticket with its own case number.
- 2
Fault diagnosis
An engineer reproduces and locates the fault, and determines whether it is covered by warranty.
- 3
Repair quotation
We issue a repair plan and price, and confirm them with you before any work starts.
- 4
Repair and factory test
We carry out the agreed repair, then retest to the factory standard. It only ships once it passes.
- 5
Return shipment
The instrument is packed and shipped back, with carrier and tracking number posted to the ticket.
- 6
Completed
The ticket closes once the instrument is confirmed back in service, and the repair record is kept on file.
